HOW LONG TAKES EMBROIDERED SOME ARTICLES?
Develop a belt embroidered by hand is quite hard work, it takes eight days at a rate of six hours a day. The process remains essentially the same with which emerged:
1 .- Choose a skin that meets the requirements of flexible size, color and uniformity must also be free of scars that are felt in the final product, the leather should be kind of suede, reaming or skins without hair, goat, sheep and deer is necessary if we want a thin leather to achieve the required thickness is struck to settle and compact (then it is compacted manually or mechanically to setback and provided an uniform skin) to achieve the right consistency are drawn and cut the strips into lengths and pieces of skin that make parts or foot straps. Buckle with a knife trying to remove cuttings from a single slit are given body and brightness (Some use molds to make drawings of it) .
2.-From here go to the drawer or "opener" that his experience of hands and split plots with special blades strokes in drawings and designs (can draw with pencil first point and then hard to draw the blades to open the skin) for it a little damp skin with tape measure, chisel, wedge, knife, compass and piece of iron, wooden ruler and square. Often have a template that starts from the banks that distribute the embroidery frame whether florets frets that are interspersed with geometric shapes or in the case of pieces with the initials or name of the owner.
3.-This happens with the Embroiderer receiving the piece of skin with a piece of blanket stuck behind in developing the task more difficult and therefore the best paid, with the cut edges, with the embroiderer “Lezna”, blanket and pita and Spot toothpick with mesquite, which serves as a draw embroidery point and pot, desk, sharpening stones and rules. The development of a saddle can take up to one month, the embroiderer is twisting the pita according to the thickness required to open the drawing with the previously “Lezna” needle that is thinner tip, will give an extremely fine finish on the edge will apply the pita (The cactus Thread) on the edge until a fine piece of art is finished. Then a machine puts the saddler lining in the back of the belt as well as their snaps and buckles that attach to a metal shell that is lined on both sides, then cut out and give a hand to finish the edges. Finally, another person adds snap, buckle up and let the pin ready for sale. With the skin are made holsters, brooches, earrings, pins (all have a cost and there is not wasted material).

The noble and humble in the process surrounded the ixtle (Pita) being ready for sale (Top)
Aspects of embroidery in pictures onto leather once taped glasses are subject to a timber and are guided to move to the leather with a “Lezna” (above and left)
The quality of embroidery is determined by the thickness of the threads that have pita and bent, the special needle used called “Lesna” to pre-open the embroidery holes and design drawings that are embroidered. The more fine and accurate these are is more delicate and beautiful work, because even those who do not know the subject will notice immediately the difference of an edge to another fine thicker. It is also very important to have beautiful and finely made drawings on the leather and embroidery artisans here Mexicans tend to have a lot of trimmings that include all kinds of reasons, especially ranger, others will say that the most chosen by the cowboys, there are those who like to carry for example, a belt having heads of horses or bull, firearms or monograms of trademarks, there is an immense variety of reasons why the cowboys and ranger people prefer ornaments and grecas florets that between our embroiderers would be fascinated with them. The process basically remains unchanged since this craftart was born.
1 .- The saddler choose a skin that meets flexibility requirements, size, color and consistency, and that should be no scarring as reflected by the final product. After this, cut the skin with mold, according to the use that is going to be.
2 .- The cartoonist or "opener" wets the skin and draws the picture on it that said the saddler.
3 .- The embroiderer is twisting the pita thickness according to the design and will require very carefully applied to achieve true works of art.
